Director Michael Bay’s original series "Black Sails” is set to shoot this winter at Cape Town Studios in Cape Town, South Africa for the Starz Network. Expected to air in 2014, the eight-episode first season of this pirate adventure series will be executive produced by Michael Bay and his Platinum Dunes partners Bradley Fuller and Andrew Form. The series created by Showrunner/Executive Producer Jon Steinberg (“Jericho,” “Hard Target”) and Co-Executive Producer Robert Levine (“Touch”) will be set 20 years before Robert Louis Stevenson's iconic tale.
