Most filmmakers can attest to the fact that working with a great director carries a tremendous amount of learning aptitude. On the flip side spending a long career collaborating with some of the greatest directors in the history of cinema brings with it filmmaking knowledge that would otherwise be impossible to obtain.

Director of Photography Bruce Logan, ASC (Tron, Star Trek) has worked with some of the most acclaimed directors including Stanley Kubrick, Sydney Pollack, Jonathan Demme, George Lucas, Clint Eastwood and John Houston.

In a recent story titled "What I Learned From Ten Famous Directors," published on Zacuto's website, Logan gives some background to working with filmmaking greatness and tells about knowledge he gained from these valuable working relationships. One example Logan gave was working alongside Director Clint Eastwood (Million Dollar Baby),"What I learned from Clint was, if you set the pace, everyone will follow.
