In his new role, effectively immediately, Dave will have responsibility for Studio Operations, including production and post production facilities, and ancillary production support departments. In addition, he will oversee and manage the company's real estate of over 2 million square ft. of office and production support space within Universal’s 392 acres. He jointly reports to both of us.
For nearly two decades Dave has been a valuable resource to NBCUniversal and has built extensive relationships inside and outside our company. His extensive production background provides the needed expertise to serve as General Manager of one of the largest working studios in the world.Prior to this new position, recently vacated by Jim Watters last month, Dave served as Senior Vice President of Production Services, Universal Operations Group since May 2001 and had been Vice President of Production Services, Universal Operations Group, since January 2000.
