DGA Nominees Preview Best Picture Race. Russell Makes Cut But Coens Snubbed

Expect all five of today's Directors Guild of America nominated films to make it into the expanded Best Picture Oscars race, just like last year's contenders. And as with last year, all five of these are already among the 10 films in contention with the PGA. The DGA nominees are Darren Aronofsky (Black Swan), David Fincher (The Social Network), Tom Hooper (The King's Speech), Christopher Nolan (Inception) and David O. Russell (The Fighter).
