VintenVinten, a leader in camera support technology for broadcast professionals is celebrating its 100th anniversary.

Getting its start in1910, William Vinten received its first order for 25 Kinemacolor machines (high-speed film projectors for the Edison color system), at £28 each. In the 1950's when television was rapidly developing and cameras needed to move more swiftly around the floor, Vinten answered the call and developed the first hydro-pneumatic pedestal. Today we can see similar high quality and precision in products such as the Quattro pedestals.

It's nice to see that after 100 years Vinten continue to provide a wide range of options in camera support technology. P3 Update congratulates Vinten on a successful journey in film and television and looks forward to seeing new innovations in the next 100 years.
