Hurlbut Visuals Moves to New Facility

img_2350sfwCinematographer Shane Hurlbut, ASC, recently announced the move of his company Hurlbut Visuals to a new warehouse/office space on La Cienega Boulevard in Los Angeles, Calif. To celebrate the event, the DP held an open house at the new facility, inviting cinematographers, assistant cameramen, his Elite Team and a host of other entertainment industry professionals who share an interest in DSLR photography.


P3 Update Celebrates its 25th Anniversary

It all began with a great idea 25 years ago, as James Thompson set out to create a publication to fill the needs of the entertainment industry that was underserved.


J. L. Fisher Mixes it Up

jlfisher-042J. L. Fisher recently held its 6th Annual Mixer & BBQ Lunch at its facility in Burbank, Calif.  “Having the open house at J. L. Fisher [allows] our customers and future customers to see our facility and just what we do,” says J. L. Fisher's Frank Kay. “There is over 50 years of history to this company, and much of that is seen on the tour," he notes. "Many people are surprised to see that we manufacture [a majority] of the components for the dollies, jib arms, accessories, sound booms and bases.”
