Music 4 Peace Initiative Announces Tour Dates at Sundance

At the Sundance Film Festival, the Music 4 Peace Initiative and Tour held a press conference at the Miners Building to introduce

 

 

At the Sundance Film Festival, the Music 4 Peace Initiative and Tour held a press conference at the Miners Building to introduce its collaborative partners, the goals of the Tour and the first tour stops in 2010.

Hip Hop Summit/Action Network, Tribes of the Worlds, Music4Peace Foundation and The Gandhi Tour are the charities collaborating to promote peace via music, artists and global resources. Operating under the mantra of “Peace, Water and Wisdom," Music 4 Peace aims to eradicate world hunger and violence, provide clean water and teach empowerment.

At the press conference, 3 four dates were announced:
A Hip Hop Summit in South Africa with the World Cup and FIFA in June
A Hip Hop Summit in India in November
Gandhi Tour International day of peace in Brazil     

Press conference participants included Dr. Arun Gandhi, Russell Simmons, Dr. Benjamin Chavis, Jr., SMI/SwaggMedia CEO Craig Nobles, Music 4 Peace Co-Founder Tobias Huber, Tribes of The World Founder Wayne Warwick Williams and Baroness Kimberly Moore. The conference also played a video message from The Dalai Lama.
